Olinda Trio

Olinda Trio - live in Berlin at Körnerparkfestival Neukölln

Olindà ... a journey through Brazil It all starts around 1870 in Rio de Janeiro: the choro, a cozy mix of European dances and African rhythms, takes us from salons to terraces in the suburbs of the city. There, pianos, flutes, pandeiros meet ... At sunset, the beaches of Tantan and the passionate song of the sambas are heard. In the nights of Nordeste the Feiras are hot and the sound of Forró invites you to dance together with intense vibrations of accordions, triangles and zabumbas. Around 1940, in the district of Lapa, the bossa nova is created. Her sensuality, her intimate character and her blue harmony enchant the lovers. Composers & Influence: Ernesto Nazareth, Pixinguinha, Vinicius de Moraes, Jacob do Bandolim, Cartola, Clara Nunes, Lenine, Zeca Pagodinho, Alceu Valenca ...
